onslow Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I have been reading up on here about reprogramming keys,i have a 97 seat alhambra,i have one remote key and just one normal key,i have put new battery in remote key but led does not flash is this because key is not programmed or cos its broke it does start the car? p.s. can i reprogramme them with the keys i got? NikpV Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Is this an IrD remote (do you have two domes - one by rear view mirror and one at the back). Don't know much about IrD but if its the radio remote - lack of red led when pressed would indicate a fault. Again with the radio remote - you only need the remote key to program it - you need 2 keys to program the PATS (yours both start the car so you don't need this) Quote
